When you sign up, there is a field called: Project Description (For internal use only)
In this field, mention that you want to be part of the 3D Printer Village. They’ll keep a running list so that we can do the tent layout, space, and power planning. In addition, if you sign up, email me ( john (at) 3dprintervillage (dot) com) so I can keep my list updated as well, and send out annoucements.
We have a dedicated forum area for discussing the 3D Printer Village, located on 3dprinterforum.org. The forum is located here: 3D Printer Village Forum. Feel free to sign up and post any questions / notes and we’ll get the discussion started.
The 2010 3D Printer Village at Maker Faire NYC was a huge success! We had about 30 people from around the world bring their DIY printers out and demo them all weekend long. We had at least 3 people win Editor’s Choice awards, and were crowded the whole time.

The date for World Maker Faire has been set! September 17th and 18th, 2011, at the NY Hall of Science! More details regarding signups will be coming shortly.
